Charity begins at home!!!!

I have always believed in giving back to the community is a responsibility of every individual. It was with that belief that I started my very first contribution to Rick Hansen Man in Motion fundraising over 25 years ago as a teenager. Since then over the years my personal involvement with various charitable organizations include Make a wish foundation, Suicide hot line, Christmas Bureau and many other fundraisings. In 2003 by chance I came across an organization which has since been my heart, soul and passion as an individual and my company. Canuck Place Children’s Hospice is a place “between heaven & earth”. It has been a place Home away from home for families with children that are battling terminal illness, but it is all about “embracing life” however long that may be. It is a cause that I am extremely passionate about and feel very honoured and privileged to be part of as a volunteer and as a committee member for Gift Of Time Gala. www.thegiftoftime.org
